Home is the chair you reach for without looking.
STILLHOME moves older adults into new homes and sets each one up so the first evening feels like the thousandth.

What we do, in the order it happens.
One small team plans, packs, moves and unpacks. Your parent decides what comes and where it goes. You get a single person to call, and a home that is finished before anyone sits down in it.
The corner on Linden Street, as it was set on move-in morning.

01
A planning visit
Two hours at home with your parent, and with you if you like. We listen for routines as much as rooms: the chair by the radio, the drawer with the good scissors.
Free, with no obligation to book. -
02
Floor plan and layout
We measure the new home and draw every room to scale with each piece placed. Your parent signs off on the plan. Nothing is decided for them.
-
03
Sorting and rehoming
Keep, pass to family, donate, sell. We arrange deliveries to grandchildren, consignment for good furniture, and pickups for charity.
-
04
Packing and protection
Room by room, every shelf photographed before it is touched. Glass and photographs wrapped in acid-free tissue. Every box labeled to the wall it is going to.
-
05
Moving day
Licensed, insured movers we have worked with for years, supervised by your STILLHOME lead. Your parent can spend the day with family, or with us.
-
06
Setting the home
Beds made, clothes hung in the same order, pictures on the walls, kitchen arranged the way it was, the lamp plugged in on the same side. Your parent arrives to a finished home.
-
07
The old house
Clearing, cleaning and readying the house for sale or handover, on your family's timeline, with photographs sent when it is done.

Two weeks later
We come back. Anything that does not feel right yet gets moved, hung or swapped, at no charge.
Most one-bedroom moves fall between $4,800 and $7,500, including packing materials and the follow-up visit. Movers are billed at cost, with no markup.
Ruth, eleven days after her move to Beverly. Same sofa, same lamp, same side.
The address is new. The evening is familiar.
If a move is coming, or might be, tell us a little about your family. A coordinator will call within one working day to listen, answer questions and explain what a first visit involves. Calling us does not commit anyone to anything.
Thank you.
Margaret Daley, our client coordinator, will call within one working day. If anything changes before then, you can reach her directly at (978) 555-0136, extension 2.
